Rick Martindale

Attorney Rick Martindale is a former licensed insurance adjuster as well as a former insurance defense attorney. Rick was awarded a full scholarship by the U.S. Air Force to attend Indiana University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance Insurance. While at Indiana University, he made the Dean's list and was a member of the Honors Division. Rick was also awarded the Silver ROTC Medal for exhibiting outstanding leadership qualities and military bearing. After Indiana University he worked as an insurance adjuster for automobile insurance companies and ultimately owned an independent adjusting firm, Florida Claims Specialists.

Rick Martindale was exposed first hand to unjust insurance company practices and felt that a career change had to be made, so he began his legal journey. He was accepted by Stetson, Florida State and the University Florida College of Law in Gainesville, but chose to be a proud "Gator Lawyer" at UF.

Following law school, Rick moved with his wife, Attorney Stacy Martindale, to Central Florida to begin his legal career. Initially, Rick practiced law in a general civil and medical malpractice defense firm that represented numerous large companies in the Central Florida area.

Because Attorney Rick Martindale's true passion lies with helping people and making a difference in his community he opened his own law firm in 2002. Rick Martindale has helped in excess of 1,500 clients seek justice for their injuries or when their insurance company wrongfully refused to pay their claim.

Rick is a member of the Hispanic Christian Church Association of Central Florida and is the recipient of the 2005 Love & Compassion Award from Florida Christian Social Services, Inc, for service to the faith community. Rick is also extremely proud to have been voted Orlando Attorney of the Year by Premio Paoli, 2004, 2005 and 2007.

Stacy Martindale

Stacy MartindaleStacy A. Martindale, Esq., has practiced litigation for more than a decade following her graduation from UF Law and she is proud to be a "Gator Lawyer." Stacy also attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Stacy has worked for two insurance defense law firms as well as the State of Florida Department of Children & Families, where she sought legal protection for abused children. Stacy maintains her goal of helping children in the court system as a Guardian at Litem.

Stacy joined the firm in 2003 and practices personal injury and first party insurance litigation. Stacy loves to help people, not big companies.

Meghan P. Kane

Meghan Kane has practiced law in the Central Florida community for the past three years. Prior to moving back to Central Florida, Meghan graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with her Juris Doctorate degree. Meghan was very active in her law school, being elected to represent her class as a Student Senator for all three years of law school, and ultimately achieving the status of Dean of the Senate. While in law school, Ms. Kane took part in the nationally acclaimed Litigation Skills Program at the University of Miami.

Meghan is a member of the Florida and Orange County Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Florida. She is also very active in the legal community as a member of the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association (CFTLA), the Florida Justice Association (FJA), formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers (AFTL), the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers (CFAWL), the Young Lawyers section of the Orange County and Florida Bars, and as an Associate member of The George C. Young Central Florida American Inn of Court, Orlando Chapter. In addition, she has been a member of the American Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta, and the Spellman-Hoeveler American Inns of Court.

Meghan is currently very involved in the Central Florida community as a member of the Junior League of Greater Orlando, the Delta Delta Delta Sorority Alumni Chapter, the Central Florida Gator Club and Florida Citrus Sports. She also created and personally manages a weekly Event Newsletter for young professionals in the Central Florida area called, "THE Google Group," and has over 150 subscribers. She has also been voted as one of "Orlando's Top 10 Young and Powerful and among the "Top 10 percent of nominees" in the area of Personal Injury, by the Orlando Business Journal.

Meghan is the daughter of Tom and Eileen Kane and was born in Winter Park, Florida. Ms. Kane attended Lake Highland Preparatory School and later graduated from Winter Park High School. After high school, Meghan went on to the University of Florida. Meghan graduated from the Honors Program at the University of Florida with a major in Decision and Information Sciences and a minor in Economics from the Warrington College of Business. Meghan is a recipient of the Gold Level Congressional Award for Volunteerism. She was a member of the Pre-Legal Honor Society and an active member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She also spent a summer living with a family in Salamanca, Spain.
